about

24 songs over 27 years. Starts in 94 with a couple punk-influenced bands, quickly into sampler and guitar experiments til 2005 and from there, more song based kind of stuff.

If I recall correctly, I'm supposed to say Fuck Nostalgia.

Guide:

1991-1995 - Lack of Starkvile. Punk-influenced. We were called Lack but there was another band of serious-looking lads called Lack who actually released records and played shows outside of a small college town. Don't want to get confused with those fine folks.

1995-2001- Experiments with a Peavey SP sampler. Those were fun.

1999 - Ad On Moon - lots of jams and experiments with three other explorers. I put that record out in 2019.

2001-2005 - Guitar experiments. Bought an aluminum guitar and a drum machine because, you know, Big Black.

2005-present - Started playing with bassist-extraordinaire David Guidry. We mess around mostly, lots of improvisation, beating the proverbial dead horses. I play guitar and since 2016, stand-up drums. The 2014 song is with an OP-1.

That's it.

Credits:

Everything I make with David Guidry is called The Hungry Horny Thirsty Sleepy. He plays sighs, with some heehaw.

Tomas (actually spelled Thomas but pronounced Tomas, try it on him, he likes it) Burns played some Gui Tar on the 2005 and 2007 songs.

Amanda Foy played those drums on the 2012 song. Thank you Amanda! There's a record of great stuff we recorded with you, this song is just the first.

The lead-off song by, ahem, Lack of Starkville, is the amazing Ted Hoyt singing. Jason Sayner (drums) and Keefe Shanholtzer (bass) also.
Tim Wesley was the bass player on that Foot Long (ahem) Opera song. And who should have been the ONLY singer. Jason Sayner also played drums in this band.

Ad On Moon was Mark Weber, Lawrence and Gabe. Last names not remembered. Lawrence played cymbals on that song, Mark played Danmo. Gabe was playing guitar. I did samplers and keyboards.

Them's the credits, otherwise my blame. Herbert Summerfield Marcel
